Yucca Mountain
In the next three months, Congress will have to make a final decision on whether or not to go ahead with President Bush's designation of Yucca Mountain in Nevada as the final resting place for the country's nuclear waste. Sierra has been following the story since 1992, when William Poole laid out the case against Yucca Mountain in "Gambling with Tomorrow."
