REPURPOSE | A Dead Blender into a Lamp

Blender Lamp

By Wendy Becktold

If your loyal blender finally dies from making one margarita too many, give it a noble afterlife—and shine a light on your DIY skills—by converting it into a lamp.

Difficulty Level: 7
Assembling the lamp-cord set and gutting the blender are easy. Widening the hole without cutting away too much is the tricky part.

Based on a project by Markus Long on instructables.com. Many thanks to G. Leslie Sweetnam for killer corrections and advice on electrical safety that is not faulty!
