the john muir exhibit - state quarter - muir quarter sand sculpture
John Muir Quarter Sand Sculpture
This John Muir Quarter was created by Jo Moulin (left) and Duncan Smeed right)
during the annual John Muir Birthplace Sand Castle Competition in July, 2009.
Garrett Burke (center), the designer of the California Quarter, happened to
be visiting the John Muir Birthplace in Dunbar, Scotland during the time of
the competition, and is seen here admiring the sand sculpture created by the
two Scottish Muir enthusiasts.
