About the Author: Janice Kelley

Through the Eyes of John Muir

Janice Kelley worked collaboratively with the interpretive staff at John Muir National Historic Site to prepare this extensive field trip curriculum.

Janice is passionate about helping individuals and families discover the outdoor world, their personal histories and community stories. She is the author of "In Nature's Time," a book of nature poems. Janice leads adult writing workshops to help capture family stories and engage in creative writing and nature journaling. Janice's family vacations are opportunities to learn and later share new ideas and ways to observe the natural world.
