Spotted Nightengale Thrush

During courtship, the male house finch will pretend to regurgitate food while the female imitates the begging behavior of a hatchling. Females have been known to build their cup-shaped nests in an amusing variety of locations, including hanging plants, Christmas wreaths, and old hats.
