The Sierra Club's outings program was started in 1901 to inspire people to help protect the nation's wildlands. National activist outings go a step further by training participants to become advocates for wilderness preservation.
In 2003 the Sierra Club is offering six national activist outings, each linked to the Sierra Club's Wildlands campaign.

Nevada's Magnificent Mojave
