Silverware Fish Chime
Turn old spoons into musical guppies

Step 1: Flatten the bowls of the spoons with the hammer or mallet. It is easy to ding up the spoons while doing this, so I sandwiched them between several layers of paper and poster board. Another challenge is finding a smooth surface that can take the pounding, if, like me, you lack a sturdy workbench. I did it on the sidewalk on top of a plastic cutting board and a thin metal sheet (a No Smoking sign that I got at the hardware store).
