Yosemite National Park Centennial Bronze Medal with John Muir quote - Climb the Mountains

This medal is the official Yosemite Centennial (1990) medal produced by the U.S. Mint, authorized by Congress.

The obverse of the medal features a waterfall and a sequoia tree in a park scene, with the inscription "YOSEMITE" centered along the bottom of the medal.

The reverse of the medal features a view of Yosemite National Park, with the inscription "'Climb the mountains and get their good tidings' John Muir" under the inscription. The inscription "YOSEMITE CENTENNIAL" and "ACT OF CONGRESS 1990" is centered at the bottom of the medal.

Composition:
90% Copper
10% Zinc

This medal comes in two sizes - 3 inch diameter and 1 1/2 inches.
