On November 13, in 30 cities, the Sierra Club released "Clearing the Air With Transit Spending," its fourth sprawl report, exploring the connection between transit spending and air pollution.
Researched and written by the Sierra Club's Challenge to Sprawl Campaign, the report grades the 50 most populous U.S. cities for their efforts to reduce pollution from cars and trucks by promoting clean transportation choices.
