Last Words
Invasive Asian carp in the Illinois River. In addition to devouring native species, the carp leap wildly out of the water, sometimes injuring anglers. In April the U.S. Supreme Court rejected Michigan's plea that shipping channels be shut to keep the carp out of the Great Lakes.
